"read only" notification on un protected sheet

any help on this would be appreciated. I have an excel file shared in my office using microsoft groove. The file has been fine for months now and all of a sudden on one of the PC's we are not able to make changes and save. When we try we get a notification that says the file is "read only". The file is not protected so I am a bit baffled. I have searched and googled everything I could come up with but have been unable to find anything. Please help

Sounds like access problems - speak to you IT section, have you checked other files in that same folder - if they have same issue then the files or the user has only READ access.
Also right click on the file and check that its not just set to READ.
