    Vlookup with on TimeValue

    Hi,
I am not able to get the result with v lookup formula.
I have a time value in column A and have timevalue in column D and In column E I have corresponding values. Now when i am using vlookup formula to get the value of column E, its not giving me the result. Its throwing #N/A error.
I made sure that the format of Column A and Column D are the same.
Can anyone please help me to resolve this issue?
    thank you

    Re: Vlookup with on TimeValue

    For example.
I have a time value in Column A say 00:01:00 and in Column D from D1 to D100 there are multiple time values and in column E against these timevalues there are different values say 1,2,3 and so on.
Now i am using =vlookup(a1,d1:e100,2,0) in cell B1, with this formula i should be getting result 1 in Cell B1 as the timevalue that i am searching is matching with column D and in column E the corresponding value is 1.
But after entering the formula i am getting #n/a error.

    Re: Vlookup with on TimeValue

Time values are decimals (1 = 24 hours) and as such you can experience significance issues when matching.

Without seeing your data it's hard to know if the issue relates to the criteria or the table_array in your VLOOKUP, to confirm this is the issue try:

the above is not (necessarily) an approach you should persist with - it is meant to identify if the issue is "rounding" related.
