    Cursor Movement Problems

Hi. I'm new to this forum and need help. I use the Windows version of MS Office 2007 on a Macbook Pro using Parallels and Windows XP. I have the Excel cursor set to move down at Enter. However, recently the cursor has stopped moving down at Enter, and just sits on the current cell. I've had to exit and re-open Excel to get the cursor to move again. In the last couple of days, the cursor has stopped moving at Enter, no matter what I do. Any ideas? This is pretty frustrating.

    Thanks,

    Barry

    Re: Cursor Movement Problems

    Hi,

Click the Office button, choose Excel Options, Advanced, and in the Editing options area tick the 'After pressing Enter, move selection' and pick 'Down'.

    Re: Cursor Movement Problems

Richard, thanks for your reply. This setting has been selected the whole time I've had this problem. I've tried unselecting and reselecting this option, I've tried changing the selection to a different direction, but nothing seems to help. The cursor just sits there after I hit enter on all spreadsheets.
