No "Find Format" dialog box in Excel 2004

    Hi,

I am using Excel 2004 for mac and I cannot find the "Find Format" dialog box or anything that resembles it. For instance, if I'm trying to find all Italic text and get rid of it I'd used the "Find Format" dialog box. I would think that because it's not there that it has been replaced with something else, but I have no clue what that is. Does anyone know where it is?

There isn't a find format feature in Excel 2004. There is in Word 2004. I don't think that find format was introduced until 2007 at the earliest. (Its not in 2011, I don't know Windows versions that well)

How do the cells get their formatting? From Conditional Formatting or is it set by the user?

Regarding the italizied text that you want to remove, is it the case that a whole cell will be italisized or only some characters in a cell?
