    Sitching axis outside of charts

    Hi,

I have been sent data in the wrong format. The rows should be the columns. Is there a quick way of swapping this round. I need all the data in column A to become the column headers and the data in the rest of the sheet to follow this pattern.

    Thanks

Title of thread should be 'switching'. Can't see an edit thread title option.

does copy / pastespecial transpose not do what you want?

You should be able to use formula to alter the layout of the data for copying over original. To get help with this post workbook example of data in before and after layout.

Yes that works on a line by line basis. Thank you. Is there a way of doing it for multiple lines?

So does it not work if you select all the lines?

I was trying to do the entire sheet as one but it does work when I select the whole column.

    Thanks for your help.
