Data layout between row and column

I do not know if this is possible ?

My data headers are by row and I need to switch them to columns. The data is held over 16 rows and also contains 2 blank header rows in the original data though I have put the correct column header in the output worksheet.

Can anyone help as I cannot secure the data in the format and the current foramt is not workable.

I have attached a test file to show how it looks and how I need it.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    Steps:
    1. Delete the blank lines you don't want in the original.
    2. Highlight the cells you wish to do this with. (ie. A2:A16 or whatever).
    3. Go to the cell you want these values to end up in (B1 or whatever).
    4. Right click, choose Paste Special.
    5. In the pop-up, choose Values and check off the Transpose box.
    6. Hit Ok.

Hi, I tried that but it did not work ? just paste's them all rows and not columns.

The worksheet will be a few thousand records. All with the same row header and same position of blanks.

The blank row header does not hold data but the cell to the lright of it does which is why I have created the coulmn header name in the output file.

    Anything else I could try?

    Hi,

I'm sort of re-iterating what I said, because I think it will work. I added more details (In the Steps Taken tab) and an example with screenshots of what I did. They are all contained in the file attached.

If this doesn't work for you, I think you'll either need to provide some other information or someone else will have to give it a shot.
