    Excel Formula (comparing 2 sheets)

I need an excel formula that will compare fields in worksheet 1 and 2. If in sheet 1: Columbia contains “DHC”, then in sheet 2. I need it to place a 1. If Columbia is blank, I need it to not put anything in sheet 2 (heading: DH Coordinator).

    Sample attached.

    Sheet 1

    County Housing Title
    1 Columbia DHC
    2 Dixie
    3 Franklin DHC

    Sheet 2
    DH Coordinator
    Percent Complete 0%

    REGION 2
    1 Columbia 1
    2 Dixie
    3 Franklin
    Percent Complete 8%

Re: Excel Formula (comparing 2 sheets)

    In B3:

    =IF(COUNTIFS('Disaster Housing Coordinators'!$A$2:$A$122,1,'Disaster Housing Coordinators'!$B$2:$B$122,A3,'Disaster Housing Coordinators'!$F$2:$F$122,"DHC"),1,"")

    copied down that region.

Adjust for 1 in the first COUNTIFS argument for the other regions.
Where there is a will there are many ways.

I didn't understand how to make the other regions output the data request.

Don't quite know what you mean by "Adjust for 1 in the first COUNTIFS argument for the other regions".

Let's say I go to Region 2. What would the formula be with the adjustment you indicating for 1?.

I have the sheets attached and applied the formula in Region 1.
