To vlookup or not to vlookup?

    That is the question.

I have a list of towns, some of which are included in a survey. I need to identify which of the list of towns are included in that survey with a simple Y or N in the yellow colum in the attached example. Those towns in the survey are listed (number only) in the 'Included Towns' tab. I thought a vlookup would do this but I can't get any joy. Please help!

    Many thanks.
