Smile Permanent Egg timer in Excel 2007

    Hi all

    Can anyone help?

Have recently upgraded from Excel 2003 to Excel 2007 and now seem to have a permanent egg timer on Excel spreadsheets.

It operates the same way as a pointer, but looks like the system is busy even though its not.

You can right click and click off and it returns to being a pointer again, until you do something new and it returns to an egg timer.

This does not happen at all in Excel 2003. Have upgraded my mouse driver and this has made no difference.

Anyone can help or has come across this before then please let me know.
    Thanks in advance.

That may cause by faulty office installation. Remove all office program in your computer. Reinstall office 2007 (do not install 2003). If it's fixed then you are lucky. If it's not, then you need to repair windows installation or even worse, a fresh install of operating system will surely help
