    Excel 2002 - Conditional formatting

How do I access conditional formatting please?

The option does not present itself in the 'Format' drop down box.

    Do I need a special 'Add-In' please?

Agreed ... that is where is should be ... the point is, for some strange reason, it isn't.

Any ideas why not? ........, was really my question.

Do you have all menu Items visible, 2003 has expanding menus, I'm not sure if 2002 does!

Re: Excel 2002 - Conditional formatting

    Dave.

It looks OK to me .. as may be seen on the attached.
Ticks in all except 'large icons'.

The bizarre thing is that I have the same installation on my lap-top which shows the conditional formatting option.

Also, when I open that excel spreadsheet (with conditional formating that I built on the lap-top, the conditional formatting works OK on the desk-top ... but still with no option in the desktop's formatting menu.

Is anyone able to give me a VBA coding alternative please.
I can use VBA in Access OK ... but I have no books on Excel VBA to try and work it out for myself.
