    Filter out Matching Criteria

I have 2 sheets in a workbook. On Sheet 1 I have a have a list of numbers call "fixed_by_maint". On Sheet 2 I have a bunch of number and other things associated with them. The column on Sheet 2 which contains the numbers is called "leaks_repaired". What I would like to do is delete all the ones on Sheet 2 that match any on Sheet 1. If not delete, at least highlight them. So if column A on Sheet 2 equals in Column B on Sheet 1, then delete or highlight. Thanks in advance

    Hello Concretesunami
Please attach a dummy sheet (or real thing as long as it doesn't have personal details) and we can see what you can. I'm off to work now but should be able to have a look later, if no one else has answered you.
    Regards
    Peter

    Re: Filter out Matching Criteria

    Hello
    Please have a look.
It will add a 1 into any that is found on sheet 1.
If this is what you are after then you just need to "DATA SORT" and that will group them together.
Again if it is ok and you want a macro to DATA SORT I'll have a look later, please send me a private message to let me know what you want to do.
I noticed all your numbers are stored as text, any reason why.
I didn't have time to see if this has effected the result; if in sheet 1 it istext and sheet 2 is a number, or a mixture of both, if this is the case, we will to change need them to a number.
I really have to go now.
    Regards
    Peter
