Change multiple pivot tables data source..

    Hello!

Is there a quick way to change the external link of multiple pivot tables: i know i can go to each one and click back but is there an automated way to change a link?

Do you use a dynamic name range for your Pivot Tables?
    As in http://www.ozgrid.com/Excel/DynamicRanges.htm

When you say "external link" is it in an opened other workbook?

Do you refresh the Pivot Table data after resetting the data set?
One test is worth a thousand opinions.

    Hey there..

I mean it's referencing an external work book, of which I needed to change the file path. I've worked around it now by naming my computer the same as the server at work and created the same folder structure. My ranges are not dynamic no: but they cover to 10,000 rows which is enough -- this method is OK?

Yes I use the toolbar button to refresh all pivot tables...

I don't have a good answer without playing in the code.

I did see a new tool for Excel at: http://www.powerpivot.com/
It looks like this Add-In has your name on it. I think it needs newer Excel though.
