help with count if function

Hi All - I have a worksheet where I am calculating migration plan for different regions and it's working fine, though I would like to have a breack down for each region and don't seem to be able to find a right formula to do it.
To get the total migration I am doing a COUNT based on the column of the Role 4 for each of the month.
I'd like to do something similar but also look up the region in column A:
I have attached what I am trying to do in cell J13~ (I have manually calculated that)
Any way to do it with a formula? Thanks!
