Question Calculating payouts multiple times for multiple individuals...

OK, so I have several members on my team who book hotel rooms for clients. For each time they up-sell to a higher level room, they recieve a payout. What I need to do is report to payroll every week how much each associate should be paid total. There are hundreds of associates, by the way, each recieving 5+ payouts each.

I need to build an Excel function which looks for the name (or login ID - both are included), and then adds each of the individuals payouts over the entire set of data. (I have attached an example worksheet).

Hi Vinsanity, welcome to the forum.

    Try this formula in C21:

    =SUMIF($A$2:$A$11,A21,$E$2:$E$11)

You can then fill that down for the other team members.

Thumbs up Re: Calculating payouts multiple times for multiple individuals...

You may have done this before, I see...

Lifesaver you are, I definitely appreciate the correct solution. Normally, I prefer to trial and error my way through Excel, but they need to get paid and I close shop in an hour!!

    Thanks again!!

Glad I could help. I've used Excel once or twice.
