Hi there,
I have an excel list of dates in dd-mmm-yyyy format and I would like to produce a count of them by month. I've tried putting them into a pivot table but that just lists them in dd-mmm-yyyy again. I would like it to group them by june-08 or jan-09.
I'm working on excel 2004 for Mac.
Has anyone any ideas on this one please?

Unfortunately that doesn't work. The mac version doesn't have the group function like that. Any other ideas?
Are you quite sure about that... http://ase.tufts.edu/its/trainDocume...ivotTables.pdf .. implies Grouping functionality exists.
