    Quick Access Toolbar

My company recently upgraded to Office 2007.

As such, am learning about the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT).

I have customized my QAT to contain the things I need.

PROBLEM: When I use a differant computer, my customized QAT does not follow me, it displays the standard QAT.

QUESTION: How can I get my customized QAT to be transportable? Is there a file that is updated for the QAT that I could copy and use?

    Re: Quick Access Toolbar

    Hi John,

QAT settings are stored in a .QAT file on your local hard drive. You can simply copy this file to your other PC as long as it's running the same version of Excel.

Per the article here (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926805), in XP the file is in

    C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Office

    In Vista/Win7 it's in:

    C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office

    Thank you Paul.

The reference to the KB article was helpful also.
