In Excel 2003 I had a nifty little add-in (free download) which was very useful in finding broken links. I've searched the web and cannot find similar for 2007 as freeware. Is anyone aware of an updated version?

Does the existing addin not work in 2007?
Hello Bob, it doesn't seem to although it may be that I don't know where to go to find it in the ribbon. It doesn't appear in the Add-Ins list in Excel Options.
I've included in the workbook attached the messages I get when opening the add-in. When I try to re-open, Excel tells me that the add-in is already open.
Have searched the VBA converters page but can't see anything applicable there.
The actual add-in is in an email - don't know how I can include that here?

I just downloaded that addin and I loaded it fine. This was 2010 not 2007, but I don't believe that anything changed there. I did notice it had a digital signature, and you had to agree that this was a trusted publisher. Didi you do that?
Hi Bob, thank you for taking the time to do that - yes I did agree but got those messages. Have just tried again and Excel tells me I already have FindLink open. So.... where do I find where to start a search for links to see where the broken links are? In 2003, I went to one of the headings along the line which has File in it - I think Tools, then at the bottom of the menu there was an option to find the links. Where do I find that in 2007.

You will only find it in the AddIns tab, that is where all commandbars end up in.
I did see one oddity in this, the menu shows twice in the Addins tab
Thanks again Bob, yes, mine actually had four. I restarted Excel and it booted without any add-ins, loaded Find Link, it showed twice, tried both, no luck - error message that the macro could not run. Saved as macro enabled workbook, same thing. I think I'll give up on this one.
Thanks for trying!

You really do have a problem, I checked some of my files and both versions of that program finds the links.
Is this a one-off? Could you send me the file and I could check the links for you?
Thank you for your offer, Bob - nothing specific at the moment, it's something I've used occasionally for many years. If I really run into trouble, there are a couple of non-free options available. Thanks again for your interest and help.
