User-friendly Data Validation from list in two steps

I'm a 'newbie' poster with a burning question (don't we all), and am confident that someone can help - looks like a great resource.

I need to create a way for users to select, via drop-down, one Individual Name from a list that relates to a second list of Company Names. (There may be multiple Individual Names for each Company Name.)

Step one is to show each Company Name once; step two is to place a drop-down alongside this, showing matching Individual Names.

Easiest to explain via a s/sheet - attached. There are two tabs, User_Input and Data_Hidden, with some comments and notes.

Look forward to your replies - thanks in advance!

    You could use a PivotTable

    Hope that helps.

Have you typed "data validation" or "drop down list" into the search forum box above?

I am sure that this came up last week.

If not for Names and companies but for Golfers and Caddies!

    All the best

    Hi royUK -

I don't think Pivot Tables will allow me to insert a drop-down list - or will they?

@royUK: I see your example, thanks - and it would work, but it will get unwieldy: I have over 7,500 companies and 30,000 individuals. Some companies consists of 20-30 individuals. So I'm trying to find a user-friendly solution for a busy/ time-poor and unsophisticated workforce - that means fool-proof drop-down menus and not pivots... Unfortunately.
@Darren: I've definitely searched and there are LOTS of examples - hard to find something specific to my needs, but will try again, looking for golf & caddies!

Your alternatives are formulas or VBA, with that amount of data none would be as efficient as a PivotTable.

royUK - I've been playing around with various formulae but not getting far. So I thought I'd go back to you - can you recommend an approach that would work, using VBA or formulae? I have seen many more complex problems solved on the forum, so am hopeful that I will find an answer...
