    conditional formatting

    Hi all,

I would like B1 to be filled with yellow if A1 equals yes. If A1 equals anything else then B1 should not be filled.

    Thanks!

    Re: conditional formatting

While in B1, go to Home tab, Conditional Formatting, New Rule

Select Use a formula to determine which cells to format
    Then enter formula =A1 ="yes"

Click Format and select from the Fill tab.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
