    LINEST array formula not working

    Hi,

I am trying to replicate Example 3:
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...005209155.aspx

I entered LINEST as an array using CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER and it only returned the single result and did not include the regression statistics.

    I am using Excel 2010.

Any suggestions on why it is not working?

    Thanks

Re: LINEST array formula not working

did you select the required number of cells before entering the formula? You need to select A14:E18, then enter =LINEST(E2:E12,A2:D12,TRUE,TRUE) into A14 and hit Ctrl-Shift-Enter.

Works without problems on my Excel 2010

Re: LINEST array formula not working

I knew it was something simple, I didn't highlight a range of cells before entering the formula. Thanks a lot for your help!
