    Date Formatting

    Hello everybody,

This is my second question regarding date formatting and finding the difference between two date instances. This second question is significantly less complicated however a lot more frustrating because despite it's simplicity I'm not sure what is wrong.

I have two dates that have been pulled out of a third party application that appears as "dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm", however they have been defaulted as the general format.

What I want to do is find the difference in time between the two dates
    Time Difference = Date 1 - Date 2

But I keep getting an "#VALUE!" error and I can't seem to use any combination of formatting for the two date variables to make the time difference window a non-error as a general formatted cell.

I'd appreciate any advice or assistance and I've attached a small sample of the problem and desired results.

    Thanks in advance!
