    Graph for comparing

    HI,

I need to show a dataset in a graph (any graph ) which is drawn column wise.

for ex. If it is a Bar graph then the all the values in the first column must showed and then all the values in the second column and so on.

    I have uploded the data.

The main aim is to compare how the values changes in the column.

I tried a lot but it is giving the graph row wise even though I transpose the data.

Please let me out from this.

    Thanks.

    Re: Graph for comparing

If you select all your data, including headers and hit F11, does that give you what you want? If not, what needs to be changed?

    Re: Graph for comparing

    HI,

Thanks for the reply. I did that already, but that is not what I want. It is giving row wise but I want column wise.,

The first column bars must be at one place and second column bars next to them. If i press F11 then it takes the values and gives the graph by row not by column.

For ex in the data I have provided the 1st column is filled with "1" and second column with some values. The graph must be something like all the 1's of first column at one place and values of second column at other place in the same graph.

Don't remember where it is in 2003, If you right click on the chart, can you Select Data and then "switch Row and Column"? I assume you want Chart 2 in the attached?
