Condition based replacements of Cells with other values

Hi ,

I have attached a sample CSAT survey file -

Column B to G has the ratings on each questions , now I basically want to covert all 1's to 5's , 2's to 4's , 4's to 2's , 5's to 1's . Please advice .


Tool assumes that "1" is Verysatisfied ,"2" is Satisfied , "3" is Neutral , "4" is Dissatisfied , "5" is Very dissatisfied .. However my calculation is totally reverse . So I had to change it .

Another piece of information which might be helpful if a script is being written for this ... This is a sample file and my actual file will have additional columns in it , which I have deleted in this ..

Not sure why you need to replace - could not just reverse the logic of your summary calcs ?

If you need to replace then it would be best to first run an Edit -> Replace for each value (1 to 5 [ignoring 3]) replacing the digit with a separate character: eg 1 to @ and 2 to ^ etc...

Once complete run a subsequent Edit -> Replace for each value converting @ to 5, ^ to 4 etc...

(avoid using *, ~, ? characters)
