LARGE and IF ?

Hello,

I have a list of persons in one worksheet and another worksheet with testdates and results of these people. Now I want to be able to have a field behind each person on the worksheet with the list of perons with the LAST date they were tested. I Think I would have to use the functions LARGE and IF, but haven't been able to figure out how to make it work.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated...

If as implied the source data is sorted by date then you can use a LOOKUP construct:
