    Dragging formula help!

Hi guys I'm new here.. I have here this problem it's driving me crazy..

I made an excel formula in one sheet that references a formula in another sheet...

    i.e. cell A1 (in sheet1) =sheet2!A3

When I drag this formula to down, the formulas to the below will be =sheet2!A4, =sheet2!A5, =sheet2!A6, etc....

Is there anyway I can make it so that when I drag it to the down, the formulas will be : =sheet2!B3, =sheet2!C3, =sheet2!D3, etc

Thanks in advance to anyone who could help..!

Sure, but this will be a bit longer

    =INDIRECT(ADDRESS(3,COLUMN(Sheet2!$A$3)+ROWS($A$1:A1),,,"Sheet2"))

    copy down

Some may suggest Indirect(), which is volatile, and the inferior solution.

    Try
    =INDEX(Sheet2!$A$3:$Z$3,1,ROW(A1))

    and copy down.

    cheers,

Vusal, I did not see your suggestion before posting mine. Index is faster, though!!!
