Ignoring entries when not in the correct format

I have a spreadsheet which calculates average delays of flights departing airports. If in the time departed cell there is an entry not in the time format ie flight delayed, this corrupts the data. Is there a way of getting the spreadsheet to ignore this entry if it does not match the correct format.

    Thanks,

    Luke
