    How to code according to income range?

    Hello Friends,

    I want to know that how to categorized 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ..according to income criteria. Please help. The sample file is also attached. Thanks

    I've seen a few of your posts now where

    a) your bands overlap

    b) your bands are strings
    Neither will help you achieve a straightforward resolution.

    Using the table lookup approach store the low point of each band:

    Then

    Given the uniformity of the bands in this instance you could also use:

    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    but the lookup table offers greater flexibility
