Excel 2007 : Merge cells & todays age/ date of birth

Hi All,

I am facing a 2 problems .. can any one help me out in same ?????

1) Problem # 1

Is there any way to merge 3 different cells without losing "word" of each cell.

The things will get more clear if you see the attached excel sheet.

2) Problem # 2

Its a list of employees, where age is written at the time of joining. so is there any way to find today's age ? Is there any formula that picks any random date as per today's age ????
