    DONKEYOTE - IRR Previously worked on

    Hi Donkeyote,

    Im not sure if you remember, but you assisted me with this project a while back, changing the copius amounts of sumproducts into a commutation column and if statements.

    I have decided to expand the use of this calculator, arranging the figures into a daily, monthly, calendar year and financial year view.

    I have stripped the sheet of all unecessary code and formulae so I could upload it.

    I have a macro that hides the columns not needed, when the user makes a selection in cell D4, that is currently disbaled to reduce size.

    I beleive I have the daily view working almost perfectly (I adjusted the commutation column slightly to give the day value rather than the month to acheive this), there are a few hiccups;

    range O359:X359 there is somehting funky going on that I cant work out.

    For some reason the IRR isnt working, I pasted the indexing function you provided me with for the monthly IRR, this changes that range that the IRR takes into account based on the dates in cells D6 and D7

    I only want the IRR to work off the Daily view, this way it is as accurate as possible.

    The inception date could be any date such as 15-3-2001 or 7-11-1993, so in the cells K14, AS14, BZ14 and DG14 I have tried to show the start of the period no matter what date is entered and then have the offset function in cells below work off that.

    The financial year period is 1st of July of any year until the 30th June the following year.

    With The financial year view, if possible for example if the date 25-8-2002 is entered I would like it to begin at the name of the financial year. ie this date falls in the FY 2003 : 1/72002 - 30/06/2003 - I couldnt seem to make this work along with having the two cells to the left to show the beginning and end of that financial period.

    Is all of this possible? Let me know if I can provide any more info.

    I would appreciate any help that will get me past this wall I have hit.

    Thank you

    Don't address posts to specific members.

    If the post has previously been worked on then the chances are it should be continued in the original Thread
    Hope that helps.
