Thanks for the reply and the attached spreadsheet but I would like that when user chooses Air System from the Systems menu in Cell A1 then the combobox menu in B1 is dynmically populated with the subsystem items associated with these

Compressor
High tone horn
Dryer / Lubricator
Filters / Strainers
Gauges
Water Separators / Auto Drain Valves
Pressure switch / Transducer
Pressure regulator
afety valve
Magnet valve
Hose / Piping
Reservoirs
Valves / Cocks (other than Brakes)


then when the user chooses Brakes from the same Systems menu in Cell A1 then the combobox menu in B1 is dynmically populated with the subsystem items associated with these:

Brakes-Air Vacuum
Brake relay valve
Brake pipe
Drivers Brake Valve / Controller
Brake distributor
Load proportioning valve
Hand / Parking Brakes magnet valve
Parking brake anti-compounding valve
EP converters
Brake actuator / calipers/ pads
Mechanical Linkage (incl Cable)
Vigilance valve / DSD valve
S Magnet valve
T Brake Control Units

So basically I will only require 2 combobox menus the second combobox2 located in cell B1 will dynamically change based on the option chosen from the first combobox1.
