I have a table that has about 5000 rows and I would like to highlight duplicate cell values in there respective row. I'm not sure how to accomplish this. I have been playing around with no results.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Select your data
In conditional formatting -> New rule -> Use a formula to determine which cells to format
write =COUNTIF(a:a,a1)>1 and use desired formatting
Never use Merged Cells in Excel
