Count dates after today?

I am doing a training spreadsheet for work and have been asked to collect the data for all people who have already received training and who are booked on training in the future.

Is it possible to have a formula at the bottom of a list of dates that will search the range and let me know how many cells contain a date that is after today? I have tried to use the =count function but can't get it to work with what I need.

=SUMPRODUCT(--(B2:B15>A2))

Where todays date is in A2 and the future dates are in B2:B15

You may get quite a few solutions to this one - loads of ways :
=SUMPRODUCT(--(A1:A31>NOW()))
Assuming that your range is in A1:A31.

Thanks both of you, I used the formula with the NOW part added in as it will eventually go to someone else and be used for future training, it will save them having to change the date every time.
