Unable to prevent coloured cells printing background colours.

Good afternoon,

Aside from selcting Black & White only printing .. Is there a way to stop background coloured cells from printing their respective colours?

I have a form which I would like to colour certain cells so that users can easily identify which cells require editing BUT when the document is printed, the background colours (but NOT the cell contents) are ignored.

Looked through the forum but the only post I could find was edited by a moderator for not complying with Rule 1 (hope mine does).

you could conditionally format all the cells in the print range to be no fill when say you enter x in g1
