formula to show a text answer

Hi everyone , i have a simple question re a formula , If i have a list of people with their score in the next coloumn next to their name eg bill 23. I know how to get in another cell the formular to show the highest score out of a group of peole but i want the answer to show the entire row or the name of the highest scorer. any help appreciated.
