Hello!
You have a cell with a dropdown list. The column width determines how much of the text you see when you click the dropdown. So, for long text, the user has to click the dropdown, move the mouse to the text, and then look up at the formula bar to see all the text.
And some of these text lines are long, so I don't want the column width to be that wide.
Is there a macro or something that when the mouse hovers over either the cell or one of the dropdown list items, the cell or view expands to the right so that you can see the entire entry?
Example Dropdown list (the "|"s are the column edges.
|239 ELM STREET|
|210 OAK STREET|
|ROUTE 26 BOX 47|35 (you can't see the "35" part when you use the dropdown.)
|ROUTE 26 BOX 47|36 (in the dropdown, this entry looks like the one above, only it isn't because of the last digit; you just can't see the last digits until you actually click the entry.)
Any help appreciated!
