    Sorting/Placing Data by Three Variables

Alright so here’s my dilemma; I’m a novice when it comes to utilizing the full power of what excel is capable of. I am in the golf industry and building a tee sheet spread that I hope to use for tournaments. I need to sort a player list by; their tee time; their starting tee (1 or 10); and by course (c1=course1 or c2=course2). That’s not really the hard part; the test comes from then placing the names into a presentable tee sheet (see teesheet pic). Macros really do not click with me so if there is a way to have the names appear on the sheet if the conditions are met without using a button. I’m not against the use of a macro but if I make edits to the layout I’m very unsure how to edit the macro.
I have an idea of creating some kind of crazy if statement that matches the 3 criteria which is fine but it would also include something that moves to the next column if there is someone else in the tee time (all of these playing will be individual players so in the end there will be four people playing out course 1 at 7:30a from the 10th tee).
Thanks for any help, I’ve starring at this for far too long with no result.
    Cheers,

    Hi KeenerCoug,
You could do a table on your Player List and then filter and sort using the auto sort dropdowns. You should have 4 people on each filtered time, course and tee. You can then cut and paste special, using transpose to fill in your Day Sheets. Study Filter and Sorting first with your PlayerList. Then look at copy and past using transpose. I don't think you need formulas. If formulas are necessary I think a vlookup would be my first try.
