    Chart Data Labels

    Hi,

I have this stacked bar chart.
The top part shows the GM or profit (in dollars), the bottom part is the cost.

I would really like to have the top data labels show the GM in %.
And the bottom labels to show the total sales price instead of the cost.

Ideally I would also like the bottom data labels to be right at the bottom of each bar instead of the middle.

    Is that possible?

    Thanks.

    Hello treva,

you can either do this manually:
    - select the data labels
    - click again to select an individual label
    - click in the formula bar, enter a = sign and then click the cell with the % number

or you can use the free XY Chart Labeler add-in that can be downloaded here. http://www.appspro.com/Utilities/ChartLabeler.htm

It's easy to use and you don't need the tool when you send the file to someone else. It just automates the manual data entries I described above.

    Cool thanks!
I went with the manual method.
