Make Database

hello iam new to excel and tryin to make database to save info and able to recall it into a diff part of the work sheet .. and or the same spot it was entered into and be able to change info to save ..
like

Track 1 and say 15 things of info

Track 2 and 15 things of info to save to it

and then have a list of the tracks in a diff area of worksheet to call the info back up ..
and make it where others can use it on there comptuers .. with less then many issues..

any ideas please ty

Hello XPFTP,

start with a simple Excel table.
In the first row put labels like Date, Code, Description, whatever you want to track
In the next rows put the content.

Then think about what you would like to "recall" in a different part of the workbook. Come up with a layout and mock up your expected results.

ok i like to do something like this but cant use there pictures but at least to be able to enter info and save it to data file and recall it anytime by name or drop down menu ..

not sure if worksheet can save to a flatfile then in this way i can share it with othe rmembers of my racing club .. thank you

Sorry, but I don't understand what you're saying. Can you put it into English? With some punctuation, maybe?

Please attach a file with a small data sample that represents your problem. There's no need for a half MB file attachment. I'm sure you can get this down to below 100 KB.
