drop down list from other sheet

Hi,

Could you please advice how to have the drop down list and the value from other sheet in excel?

I have sheet1 in which its value
A
B
C
D
..........

In sheet2, i want to have those value shown in the drop down list.

Please advice

You cann't do it directly by just referencing the cells. First you need to define a name of the list in Sheet 1, then in sheet 2 you need to select Data>Data Validation>List>Source(=Name)
