I need to have a cell be able to except an A, B, or C if another cell is equal to 1. I also need that same cell to accept a 1 to 99999 if the same other cell is equal to 2. Any Ideas? I am using the latest version of excel.

try
=IF(B1=1,OR(A1="a",A1="b",A1="c"),IF(B1=2,AND(A1>=1,A1<=99999)))
