As long as they are blank (in your sample they are not)

edit goto special blanks/ right click/ delete/ shift cells left

I have tried this. The cells in my range will not be blank..
why are they not blank?
because they are copied as values from a formula. Is there a way to make them blank after they have been copied from the formula?
good point, i never noticed that. hmm and short of selecting deselecting cell isblank returns false hmmmmmmm
You can select the values, and in the VBE Immediate window, enter
Then proceed as Martin described.![]()
Selection.Value = Selection.Value
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate
thanks i figured it out
