    All,

I've been using a heating/cooling spreadsheet, and I'm struggling to understand how reliable and accurate it is.

For example, where does the value in "Table_Results" C12 come from? Apparently, it is generated by some sort of logic that is kicked off by the "Update Results" button. But I don't understand what action is triggered or what logic applied! It's kind of hard to rely on a model when you can't see how the results are calculated!

Re: Where does the value in C12 come from?

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!

Re: Where does the value in C12 come from?

No matter what browser I use, I get a "database error" message after I have uploaded the file (ie reached 100%), but before the upload process has officially concluded..

    Ideas?

Re: Where does the value in C12 come from?

If I try to upload the .xlsx file, it is over the size limit.

But if I try to upload a zip file, I get an "Excel Forum database error". I tried 2 different zip utilities and get the same upload error.

    Ideas?

Re: Where does the value in C12 come from?

And if I first load the zip file to a website, and then try to upload it into Excel Forum from there, I get this error:

Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file

This would also seem to be an Excel Forum error.

Can others upload zip files over 1MB at the moment?

    Cheers,

    Jay
