formulas paste

Need help. Excel 2003.

I have a spreadsheet with data with formulas in range A1..C1000.

I want to copy cells data A10..B400 and post/copy into a new
spreadsheet. When I post it, is posting as 'values' instead formlas.
I tried all options in tools. Is there any way I can post/copy to
new speadsheet as is data with 'formulas'.

Paste Special - Check " Formulas" - OK

When I do this, paste special, I am getting a window showing the following list,

Microsoft office excel worksheet object
picture (enhanced metafile)
bitmap
microsoft excel 8.0 format
biff5
bfiff4
so on..................

I want to get rid of this window as well,

Is there any formatting to the range you are copying or pasting into?
