    Sum column of alphanumeric values

    Hello,

    The range L19:L65536 is filled with alphanumeric values in the format: "## days" or "### days"

    Thus,
    L19 = 75 days
    L20 = 102 days
    L21 = 64 days
    L22 = 45 days
    L23 = 135 days
    etc. etc.

    I'm looking for a formula that I can stick into a cell which will allow me to sum up the numeric values to get a total number of days. I've tried a few methods to parse the numbers out of the cells, but all to no avail. Any ideas?

    Note: If necessary, I can create a Dynamic Named Range which contains only those cells with values (since I obviously don't have the cells in row L filled all the way to the very bottom).

    Many thanks.
