Comparing common records between 2 arrays

Friends,

I am trying to compare records between these 2 arrays, as seen in the excel(array 1: B:B, Array 2: C:C and trying to see if i found one in Column E)by using Countif.

However, even if the records are common, somehow i cannot get it like that.

Help required!

Try =countif(c:c,b3) ( the opposite of your formula)
