Excel 2007 : follow hyperlink code

need help using follow hyperlink and event change macros!!!

i have numerous worksheets for build ups of different items and i am trying to design something where i enter a code (consisting of three numbers that will decide which build up needs to be used) and after i enter the code, the program will know which build up program needs to be displayed for the user to input their data....idk if this is possible but from looking online i think it can be done using an event change macro for after entering the 3 digit code, which then uses a follow hyperlink macro of some sort to get to the desired program... however i have no idea how that would be coded.
