Omit Zero's at the end of a line graph until the data is entered?

Hello everyone and thank you in advance,

I've creating a tracking chart for individual employees and their daily stats. These stats are graphed into a simple line chart for better understanding of the rise and fall.

Question - The graphs are fine but the zero's for the days that have not happened are causing the line graph to drop down at the end and i was wondering if there is a way to omit the days in the future until data is entered?

Bascily the intent I like to have is the line continue to the end of the graph bassed on the last entered data and not drop to zero for the remaining time.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks again.

Some thoughts. You could use a dynamic range to expand the chart as you enter data (thus not having those extra days)

Normally if the cell is blank, it will not chart it. Do you have a formula in these future cells? If not, try clearing the contents of those cells.

Another possibilty is to populate those cells with #N/A ( use =NA() ). Those will not be graphed. Then use conditional formatting to make the font of #N/A white.

Hope one of those helped you.

The Dynamic Range seems to accepting the formula but nothing happens to the graph. Removing the data really isn't an option and all the cell's i'm graphing off of have formulas. Was thinking a possible true false statement to populate a Zero if the field is zero on the next sheet instead of #DIV/0)!

My data for the Y axis of the chart ranges from B76:B95

    The Dynamic Range Formula I've enter =OFFSET(Staff View!$B$76,0,0,COUNTA(Staff View!$B:$B),1)

Do yo uthink it's something with the Dynamic Range Formula?

    Thanks again.
