send email when workbook is opened

Hi,

I have a shared workbook.I keep track off who logs on to it.With this code.

 open thisworkbook.path & "\logging.text" for append as #1
  print #1,application.username,now
  close #1

what i was hoping for is maybe to add code to send an email to me when someone logs on.
is this realistic.Thank you.
