    Lookup and copy

I need help with a complicated Array lookup. Column A has numbers (mostly 0's) with a positive number 1-9 found occassionally as you look down the column. I need the spreadsheet to look down column A, find any number greater than zero and copy the cells from columns B and C adjacent to the number found in column A and past the test in B and C onto a different sheet.
    A B C
    0 Text 1 Data1
    0 Text2 Data2
    3 Text 3 Data3
    0 Text4 Data4
    1 Text5 Data5
    1 Text6 Data6
    0 Text7 Data7
    2 Text8 Data8

Ultimately I would like Text3 Data3 to copy and paste into a cell, then Text5 Data5 to copy and paste into a different cell and the same with Text6 Data6 and Text 8 Data8. Can this be done?

Re: Complicated array lookup and copy

If you put a row of "Titles" across row at the top of your data, then you can turn on the Autofilter and do a custom filter on column A for any value greater than zero. You'll find yourself looking at a filtered down list.

With the autofilter, you may find you don't need to copy the data elsewhere since you can work with the filtered data right there in its original place...edit/print/etc... then turn off the Autofilter to see all the data again.

Of course, you can easily copy the filtered data to another sheet, as well.

    Re: Lookup and copy

Thanks guys. It looks like Martinwilson's got the result I was looking for. I need to make a printable report of data from another sheet. I don't quite uderstand exactly what Martiwilson did to get it. I'll have to study his formulas and attempt to reproduce it. If someone, or martinwilson, can explain the process I would appreciate it.
    Thanks again
