Adding characters

Hello everyone.. I have a quick question. i was wondering if there was a way to add characters to a cell that already has info in it,,,
for example
A1 1100CN
A2 1200CT
A3 1300MY

And what i wan to add would look like this

A1 5NP-1100CN
A2 5NP-1200CT
A3 5NP-1300MY

I could of course do this manually but i have a few thousand entries to do this to...any help please
